Well, here's my fanfiction I have light to a while ago. But here is chapter one, I just want to see what you guys think of it before I continue doing it. Every time I post more of the story, three chapters will be included in one journal. Hope you enjoy!
Quinn stood frustrated. She let out a heaving sigh. He had done it again. Why does Timm always have to leave me these stupid voicemails? She thought. Ever since she approved of Timm owning his own dance studio (Papa Louie came to her near Christmas. He said that Timm was going to work at Whiskview Mall Dance Studio, but it unexpectedly closed down. And he wanted to allow him to live his dream.), he wouldn't stop talking to her. It was as if he worked with her all over again. She grabbed her crabby notebook and jotted down the voice mail. She only did this, so in the future, she could tell Timm to leave her alone after the amount of calls he gave her. She wrote "Hey Quinn! I didn't expect you to answer, but that's okay. I just want to say I'm so happy and thankful for what you did for the millionth time." Annoying. "But I also wanted to tell you something else. Can... Can you meet up with me near Sushiria? Call or text me when you've got an answer. Bye!" Man, what does he want? Why is he all of a sudden asking me out? Oh well... Better see what he wants.
Just before she could grab the phone, there was a knock on her office door. She paused, then said "Come in." Her door opened quietly, to be met by one of her many workers. "Um, hey, Quinn...?" "Yes?" She asked a little confused. The girl paused, then said "There's been an... accident at Whiskview Mall." Quinn took the confusion off her face. "What happened?" "Well..." She said, kind of unsettled, "some one got badly burned after getting a pie out of the oven... At Papa's Bakeria, and it was one of the workers..." What?! Timm may now have his own dance studio, but he still works there part time! "Who was it?" She asked worriedly. "It was a girl... I think her name is Cecilia..." Thank god. "Well, what do the cops need of us?" "They need you and your group of high workers to get there as soon as you can." "Alright, I'll be there in just a minute." She closed the door. She smiled, as she knew who Timm was. She's worked here when the place was once "Quinn, Timm, and Associates". She always thought Quinn and Timm where quite cute together... She smiled and giggled a little. "Maybe one day," she said.
As Quinn and her workers arrived, they were soon crowded by news reporters, police, and- Timm?! Quinn was taken aback. Shouldn't this be no surprise? But she was surprised anyway. "Alright, alright, back up! We need to get inside! Gotta deal with things!" Her workers said for her. She tried as hard as she could to not look at Timm. But who knew? As soon as she's in the Bakeria, there he is, bam, at her again. She would have sighed irritably, but he was right by her too soon. "Hey, Quinn, glad you could make it." He said seriously, without a smile. "Yeah, I'm supposed to be. Anyway, I guess it would be good if I asked you questions." "Worry about that later, Quinn. You gotta deal with the cops in the kitchen first, they're waiting." Timm kind of pushed her along into the kitchen, until she gave him a look telling him to stop. "Ms. Quinn, good to see you." Said a fellow officer, Hank. "I suppose you already know what happened." "Well, yes, but may I please know how it happened?" She asked politely. "Sure. Ask Timm, he witnessed it." She turned around, reaching Timm, and said "Yep. I should definitely meet with the cops first." Of course, this was a joke. Timm smiled a bit, along with Quinn. But she quickly removed it, asking "Well, what happened?" Timm raised his voice a little over the noise, and began. "We were just working as usual. But then Georgito comes in demanding his pie be made quick. So Cecilia tried her best at doing this, with Georgito yelling and me trying to calm him down. So I go back into the kitchen to check on her. She quickly takes the pie out, but too fast. It slips from her hand, and as she tries to catch it, she trips over herself, and as the pie re-launched itself into the air, it hit her right on the belly." Quinn sort of cringed at this. That had got to hurt. "Well, is she okay now?" "Well, yeah. I hope. The ambulance picked her up, and she should be being taken care of right now." There was a small silence between them. Until Quinn said "Where is Georgito? I should talk with-" "Miss Quinn, we need to speak with you for a moment." Quinn looked to the side, and said "I'll be back later." "See ya," Timm said. A moment later, he was invaded by the nosy news reporters. "Miss Quinn, are you fully aware that this will be needed to be taken to court?" "Yes, I know very well." On the outside, she looked delicate and serious. But on the inside, she was screaming. She definitely did NOT want to go to court again, especially since running her own law firm is difficult enough. She's lucky enough to not have any gray hairs or wrinkles. "Alright, well Georgito is being accused of doing this on purpose, being insensible, and just plain stupid. But the point is, he's requesting you to be his lawyer. Should you accept, you will need to go over the public about-" "Yes, I am very aware. But first, I wish to talk to him. Then I can go over this with you guys." "But ma'am, that'll take days-" "I know that. But I wish to get the basics out of the way, thank you very much."
"Ms. Quinn, please, let me explain-" Georgito said with a rather worried face. "I know that you understand what happened. But I still want to explain myself... I did not mean this at ANY cost. I was only in a rush to get to my meeting on time. Just business things." Quinn respectively nodded and said "I understand very well. I would like to offer to be your lawyer." She turned around and nearly yelled "Marlyn! Savannah! I need you!" The two were there almost at an instant. "Yes, boss?" "I need you both to gain more information of the defendants story, please. Thank you." She said without waiting for a response. Kind of the thing being a boss; "You do what I say."
As she returned to Hank, the swarm of conversation started up again. "Alright, Ms. Quinn, I must know, are you willing to be Georgito's lawyer?"
"Yes, I am."
"Alright. Pleasure to hear you understand. I myself think the same too. But anyway..."
Quinn trailed off a second.
"This will be a long night..." She thought.
